Coton Colors Company Systems Administrator
Coton Colors is currently seeking a Systems Administrator for our Corporate Office & Design Center, located in Tallahassee, FL.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for implementing, overseeing and optimizing all business systems and technology platforms used across the company. This role focuses on ensuring that platforms—such as ERP software, e-commerce systems, databases, collaboration platforms, and other business-critical applications—operate efficiently, align with organizational goals, and deliver value to the business.
The Administrator will not be responsible for server infrastructure or IT hardware management but will work closely with technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to integrate and maintain these systems effectively. They will lead platform selection, implementation, configuration, user training, and ongoing management to ensure the business maximizes its technology investments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but are not limited to):
Platform and Business Systems Management
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all business platforms and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, e-commerce, collaboration tools).
- Manage platform lifecycles, including upgrades, integrations, and sunset transitions.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure systems align with business goals and workflows.
- Integration and Configuration
- Design and implement integrations between platforms to improve data flow and process automation.
- Configure business systems to meet the organization's operational requirements and user needs.
- Evaluate and recommend platform changes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Provide training and support to employees on business platforms, ensuring effective adoption and utilization.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with vendors or technical teams for resolution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for platform vendors, managing contracts, service agreements, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless technology operations.
- Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on business operations.
- Lead platform selection processes by assessing functionality, scalability, and return on investment (ROI).
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for business system improvements and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all platforms.
- Develop and generate reports to provide actionable insights into business performance.
- Process Optimization
- Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for system use.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience managing business systems, with hands-on experience in platforms like NetSuite, Shopify, Airtable, MarketTime, or Adobe solutions.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing e-commerce and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate systems to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Deep understanding of business platforms – NetSuite, Airtable,
- Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., APIs, middleware like Zapier or MuleSoft).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Effective communication to collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting platform issues and identifying process improvements.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple systems, priorities, and deadlines.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and business requirements
