JOB OVERVIEW:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion by acquiring and developing customers across designated territories. Working within a small, collaborative team, this role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while meeting or exceeding sales goals across both Coton Colors Company brands. The ideal candidate is results-driven, highly organized, and passionate about brand storytelling and relationship-building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but are not limited to):
- Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets including:
- New business acquisition
- Year over year growth of existing accounts
- Driving overall market share within assigned territory
- Understands and communicates the Coton Colors brand
- Conducts targeted travel, occasionally for multiple days at a time, while adhering to a travel budget
- Provides customer communication via all channels – In person, phone, email, fax and company systems and websites
- Delivers excellent customer service and development to include:
- Customer onboarding and training
- Order information, placement and inquiries
- Customer communication regarding sales initiatives and promotions
- Product information
- Appointment setting
- Performs customer data management within company platforms
- Generates creative ideas and development of sales campaigns, programs and promotions
- Including limited, Special Projects
- Participates in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual company directed events and meetings:
- Trade shows, Conventions, In-store events
- Team meetings
- One-on-one meetings
- Mentors Sales Associates and new Sales Representatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- College Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales field, retail and/or gift industry a plus
